SilkOut System warrants all of its SilkOut Pro Heat styling tools (styling iron, blow dryer, curling iron and beard iron) against defects in materials and workmanship for one year. 


PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR SILKOUT SYSTEM’S ONE YEAR LIMITED MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE ONLY IF YOU PURCHASE THE PRODUCT FROM OUR WEBSITE LOCATED AT WWW.SILKOUTSYSTEM.COM or an authorized reseller if you have a valid receipt from our authorized reseller. Purchases made on ebay, marketplace, or private sellers are NOT covered in the manufacturer's warranty. 


MANUFACTURER’S ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS

  • Defective electrical and mechanical parts only within normal use.
  • One year from the date of delivery.

WHAT MANUFACTURER WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • This warranty DOES NOT COVER physical damage and normal wear and tear such as shorts in the power supply cord or plug, liquid damage, excessive product build-up on the plates or paddle, bent or broken brush bristles in the case of the blow dryer, scratched or damaged plates (in the case of the styling irons). 
  • It also DOES NOT COVER damage due to accidents, misuse, or abuse such as: dropping (broken housing, broken hinges, loose plates, rattling noise, cutting of cords, wrong voltage supply including using the tool in a country other than where it was intended to be used); neglect in safety precautions or regular maintenance; any tampering or modification such as repair or attempted repair by an unauthorized person, or use of unauthorized attachments.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE A MANUFACTURER WARRANTY CLAIM:

  • If a product fails to operate properly under normal use because of a covered defect and it is WITHIN the one year warranty period, then please complete the following steps:
    • (1) complete the Warranty Return Authorization Form to obtain consent to return. 
    • (2) We will email you once your return is approved and send you an invoice for a $25 processing fee and once the invoice is paid a return label will be sent.
    • Once your return is received a replacement or store credit will be processed based on item availability minus any original shipping cost.

Claims must be filed and completed within the one year warranty period. 

  • If we receive a valid claim, we will replace your returned tool with a product of equal or greater value, or refund based on availability. 
  • Allow 7-10 days to process warranty claims after we receive the item.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without an email authorization from us. Items returned without approval will be disposed of without credit


SilkOut System Extended Warranty Policy and Procedures


SilkOut System warrants all of its SilkOut Pro Heat styling tools (styling iron, blow dryer, curling iron and beard iron) against defects in materials and workmanship for one year. 

Our one year extended replacement warranty is available at checkout when purchasing an eligible product and is valid within one year of the delivery date. 

The one year extended replacement warranty is available after purchase if your item doesn’t qualify for a manufacturer’s warranty replacement within 1 year of your original purchase.

 

Option for one year extended warranty

  •  When purchased, this optional extended warranty covers a one-time replacement on select SilkOut Pro Heat tools.
  • If you did not purchase an extended warranty you purchase it at the time of the claim as long as it is within the 1-year of the original purchase. 

EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERS

  • ALL INCIDENTALS THAT ARE OUTSIDE OF THE 1-YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY within the warrantied year of damage to heat tools from drops, accidents, incidentals, and normal wear and tear from usage.
  • Includes return shipping of items. 

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE AN EXTENDED MANUFACTURER WARRANTY CLAIM:

  • If a product is damaged outside of the guidelines of the one year manufacturer's limited warranty and an extended warranty is purchased, then please:
    • (1) complete the Warranty Return Authorization Form to obtain consent to return. 
    • (2) We will email  and send you a return label.
